NEW DELHI: Chinese smartphone brand Xiaomi has launched two smartphones with dual rear cameras so far this year -- Xiaomi Mi 6 and the Mi 5X. And out of these two, at least of them is set to hit the Indian market soon. This has been revealed by Xiaomi's managing director and vice-president Manu Kumar Jain on micro-blogging website Twitter.
"Can't wait for you guys to check out Xiaomi's first dual-camera phone in India! Coming next month! Can you guess which one?", tweeted Jain. For now it is anybody's guess as to which one out of the two smartphones will Xiaomi launch. However, hopefully we will get to know more about the upcoming device in the coming days.

As a refresher, the Xiaomi Mi 5X is the newer smartphone as compared to the Mi 6. The Mi 5X was launched in China late last month in one RAM and storage version - 4GB+64GB. The device was launched at CNY 1,499, which is roughly Rs 14,200.
The highlight of the smartphone is its dual rear cameras. It has dual-12MP rear cameras, of which one is used for telephoto zooming while the other is for wide-angle shots. The wide-angle lens comes with f/2.2 aperture while the telephoto zoom lens comes with f/2.6 aperture. A similar setup was also used in the recently announced Xiaomi Mi6 flagship smartphone. There is also a 5MP front-facing sensor with real-time beautification feature.
The Xiaomi Mi 5X sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. Supporting a microSD card (up to 128GB), the Xiaomi Mi 5X also includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS, A-GPS and USB Type-C. Besides featuring a fingerprint sensor at the back, the Xiaomi Mi 5X also has support for DHS Audio Calibration Algorithm for better audio quality output. The device is backed by a 3080mAh battery and has a metal unibody design with curved edges.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 was launched in China back in April this year. Powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 835 flagship SoC, Mi 6 has 6GB of RAM. The smartphone sports a 5.15-inch Full HD display. Notably, the Mi 6 is the first Xiaomi smartphone that doesn't include a 3.5mm audio jack. However, the smartphone does come with stereo speakers for an enhanced audio listening experience.
There are two variants available based on internal storage - 64GB and 128GB. There's also a 3,350mAh battery included in the mix, complete with Quick Charge 4.0 support.
For imaging duties, the Mi 6 has a dual rear camera setup with 12MP lenses (one wide-angle and one telephoto), OIS and 4K video recording capability. There is also an 8MP selfie camera included.
