Consumer electronics giant Samsung is all set to launch its flagship smartphone on August 23 at an event in New York. Just ahead of the launch a new leak has surfaced online confirming some of the specifications of the upcoming smartphone.

is all set to launch its flagship smartphone on August 23 at an event in New York. Just ahead of the launch a new leak has surfaced online confirming some of the specifications of the upcoming smartphone.



Ausdroid has got a brochure of the smartphone which reveals that smartphone will come in Black and Gold colour options in Australia, which means that there will be no Deep Blue Sea model. Along with this, the brochure also highlights that Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will feature a 6.3-inch Infinity display, smart S Pen, iris scanner, dual camera with 2X zoom and fast charging.






Along with this, the device will also be dust and water resistant. The brochure also suggests that the smartphone will be compatible with Samsung's Smart Switch app which enables users to transfer their data from the old device.



Recently, Galaxy Note 8 was spotted on GFXBench, revealing most of its key specifications of the smartphone. According to the listing, the Galaxy Note 8 is going to sport a 6.4-inch display of 1440 x 2960p resolution and will run Android 7.1.1 out-of-the-box. It will be powered by 2.3GHz octa core Samsung Exynos 8 processor coupled with 6GB RAM, of which 5.2GB will be available, and 64GB internal storage, of which 53GB will be available. The listing also shows a single 12MP camera in back with an 8MP front-facing selfie snapper. Both the front and the back camera will be capable of FHD (1920 x 1080) video recording.
