According to the images posted on Baidu, the camera of the upcoming Nokia 8 will have a three-line sandwich icon on top left from where users will be able to switch between rear and front cameras, timer, HDR, LED flash and three different camera modes.
Reports suggest that the three options include: RGB, dual-lens and monochrome. This indirectly also means that the secondary camera at the back could only shoot monochrome images. Furthermore, the image also shows a dual-camera mode, which is said to click images using the rear and front-facing cameras at once to create a collage.
Some of the past rumours and leaks suggest the smartphone to feature dual-13MP rear cameras. The cameras are said to be powered by Carl Zeiss lenses. Earlier reports also claim that Nokia 8 smartphone will come with dual-rear camera set-up.
The recent listing of the smartphone on Geekbench revealed the device to sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor along with 4GB RAM. The smartphone was also listed running Android O.
In a previous report by Winfuture website it was mentioned that the Nokia 8 is expected to come with a price tag of EUR 589 (roughly Rs 43,400). If true, at this price range it could prove to be an arch rival of the OnePlus 5 and the LG G6.
The smartphone is expected to launch in four colour variants -- Blue, Steel, Gold/Blue, and Gold/Copper. It is said to sport USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone slot.
Finland-based HMD Global is likely to launch the smartphone, alongwith Nokia 2, at an event in London on August 16.
