NEW DELHI: India's leading e-commerce portal Flipkart is holding a three-day 'Big Freedom Day Sale' from 9-11 August to mark India's 71st Independence Day. As part of the same, the company is offering deals and discounts of over 30 categories which include gadgets, clothing, kitchenware, consumer electronics, home furnishing and more.

Redmi Note 4. During the Freedom Sale, the smartphone will be available with an extra discount of Rs 1,000 on exchange. Launched in January this year, the smartphone goes on flash sale on every Thursday on Flipkart.

sports a metallic unibody with round edges. It has a 5.5-inch full-HD display, offering wide-viewing angles. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2.2GHz. The users can further expand the storage up to 128GB by installing a microSD card. The smartphone comes in three variants -- 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow topped with the company's native MI UI 8 skin. It is backed by a 4100mAh battery and also comes with an IR blaster and the Mi remote control app. On the camera front, the Note 4 has a 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and 5MP front camera. The dual-sim smartphone offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Glonass and micro-USB as connectivity options.
The Chinese manufacturer has priced the 2GB RAM version at Rs 9,999, the 3GB RAM variant at Rs 10,999 and the 4GB RAM variant at Rs 12,999.
