has launched its Zenfone 4 series of smartphones at an event in Taiwan. The company has launched its ZenFone 4 Pro, ZenFone 4, Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro and Zenfone 4 Selfie. The company also announced that the devices will first launch in Asia and then will be rolled out to other markets.
Asus Zenfone 4 Pro
The Asus Zenfone 4 Pro comes with a price tag of $599 which translates to Rs 38,430 and will come in Pure Black and Moonlight White colour options. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch full HD AMOLED display with 1080x1920 pixel resolution. The display is topped with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass which makes it scratch resistant. Running Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) operating system, the smartphone is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with Adreno 540 GPU.
The device offers 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 2TB via microSD card. It sports a dual rear camera setup with one 12MP and other 16MP module. The smartphone has a primary 12MP module with dual tone LED flash, f/1.8 aperture and Sony IMX362 1/2.55″ sensor. There is a 16MP secondary module which comes with 2x optical zoom and Sony IMX351 sensor. The smartphone also houses an 8MP front facing camera with f/1.9 aperture and Sony IMX319 sensor.
The smartphone comes with dual speakers, fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 3,600 mAh battery with fast charging support. For connectivity the device offers, 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and USB Type C.
Asus Zenfone 4
The company has priced the Asus Zenfone 4 at $399, (roughly Rs 25,600). The smartphone will come in Midnight Black, Moonlight White and Mint Green colour options. The device runs Android 7.0 nougat operating system topped with the company's own Zen UI and sports a 5.5-inch full HD Super IPS+ display with 1080x1920 pixel resolution. The display is protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass.
The smartphone is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor paired with 6GB/4GB of RAM. It offers 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 1TB by using a microSD card. The hybrid dual SIM smartphone also features a dual rear camera with one 12MP and other 8MP modules. The primary 12MP module comes with dual-tone LED Flash, f/1.8 aperture and Sony IMX362 1/2.55″ sensor, while the secondary 8MP camera comes with 120° wide-angle lens.
Measuring 155.36 x 75.24 x 7.7 mm the smartphone, comes with a fingerprint sensor, dual speakers and hosues a 3,300 mAH battery. In terms of connectivity, the device offers 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C.
Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro
Priced at $379 (Rs 24,310), the Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro will come in Rouge Red, Sunlight Gold and Deepsea Black colour options. The smartphone is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and features a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display with 1080x190 pixel resolution topped with Corning Gorilla Glass. The smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. The users can further expand the storage up to 128GB by adding a microSD card.
The smartphone comes with a 16MP rear camera with dual tone LED flash and it has dual selfie cameras with two 12MP modules. Weighing 147g, the smartphone packs a 3,000 mAh battery with fast charging support and offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.
Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie
The Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie costs $279 (Rs 17,900) and comes in Deepsea Black, Mint Green, Rose Pink, Sunlight Gold colour options. The smartphone boasts of a 5.5-inch HD display with 720x1280 pixel resolution and runs Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. The smartphone is powered by 1.4GHz octa-Core Qulacomm Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
The smartphone features a 16MP rear camera with LED flash and a dual Selfie camera with 20MP and 8MP modules. The device is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery and offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.
