Finally the Micromax canvas knight has been released. This is a much awaited phone targeting Indian customers. It is marked as Indian iphone in Indiatimes blog. Micromax designed this phone as other smart slim phones in the market. The full review of this phone is follows :

Camera

This phone has 16 MP, 3456 x 4608 pixels, autofocus primary camera with LED flash. The front secondary camera is 8 MP. It has support to take panorama and GIF (camerazzi feature) images. The primary camera has Largen M8 Lenses for sharper images.

The camera section in the rear side has bump and it require extra protection although it is common in slim smart phones.

Performance

Micromax canvas knight is the first Micromax phone with true octa core processor. It has 2 GHz MT6592T true octa core cortex A7 processor. It also has 2 GB RAM. This configuration is more than enough to play high end games and watch HD Videos.

Battery

Its battery capacity is 2350 mAh. Micromax claim this phone's standby time is 175 hrs and talk time is 7 hrs and 30 min but you can't expect that much from this phone. This battery allows you to use this phone for 8 to 10 hrs for normal gaming and video use. You can't expect much from this phone. If you are traveler then you need to invest on power bank additionally.

Display

It has 5 inch 1080p HD IPS display. This is the main future of this phone. This phone is bright enough to use in bright sunlight.

Operating System

It comes with Android 4.2 Jelly Beans. The update for KitKat is not available yet and we cannot expect it to be released soon.

Audio

It comes with Yamaha amplifier for loud audio but the overall audio effect is good not great. There is no premium ear buds with the pack and it is disappointing too.

Look

This phone comes in three color as shown above. The width of this phone is only 7.3 mm. The weight of this phone is also very less. So it is very easy for day to day use.
