Mozilla Firefox 5 introduced a new feature known as an App Tab, which enables a user to pin their favorite tabs to the tab toolbar. In the below picture, is an example of four tabs that have been pinned in Firefox.
To create an App Tab follow the below steps.
Right-click on the tab you wish to pin to the tabs toolbar.As seen in the above picture, a menu should appear that allows you to pin that tab as an App Tab.
Once pinned that tab will remain on the tab toolbar until it is unpinned.
