Open iTunes on your computer. If you do not currently have the program, download it at no charge from the Apple website.
Click on "iTunes Store" in the iTunes sidebar.
Sign in to iTunes, if you are not signed in already, by clicking on the "Sign In" icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
Click "Redeem" in the "Quick Links" section, located along the right side of the screen.
Enter the 16-digit code on the back of the iTunes card and click "Redeem." The amount of money associated with the card will be credited to your iTunes account.
