How to Set Up a VPN on Cbeyond

Open your web browser and go to CbeyondOnline (see Resources). Log in with your username and password.

Click "My Services," then "Virtual Private Network (VPN)."

Click "Add Remote User."

Enter a first name, last name, email, username and password in the designated fields. Click "Save." An email will be sent to you. It may take a couple of days to receive.

Open the email from Cbeyond. Click on the link in the email to set up the VPN.

Tell your LAN vendor to call Cbeyond if you have a firewall or router. The vendor will need to tell Cbeyond the IP address of the router or firewall and the private IP address scheme behind the router or firewall. Cbeyond will then configure the VPN to work with your router or firewall.
