How to Reinstall Administrative Tools

Place your Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7 disc in your computer. If you are using a newer version of Windows, place that disc in your computer.

Choose "Advanced Install" when you have the option to install the entire disc or choose advanced. Advanced install lets you choose which pieces of your operating system to reinstall.

Scroll through the list of programs and folders. When you reach "Administrative Tools," check the box next to it. Then choose "Install." The program will reinstall Administrative Tools. Restart your computer in order for it to take effect.
