Launch Internet Explorer from the "Start" menu.
Click on the "Tools" menu and select "Internet Options."
Click the "Security" tab. Click "Custom levels."
Scroll through the list and click the "Disable" radio button beside the options under the "ActiveX controls and plug-ins" heading.
Click "OK" in both dialog windows. Close and reopen Internet Explorer in order to save the settings.
