How to Block Websense

Stop the Websense Integration Service. This can be done by using the Windows services dialog box. Access the dialog box by clicking on the "Start" menu, selecting "Administrative Tools" and then selecting "Services."

Select "Websense Integration Service" and choose "Stop."

Attempt to access or receive content that was once blocked by the Websense service. If you can not successfully complete the task, try removing the Websense software completely from your computer by using the "Add or Remove Programs" dialog box. The dialog box can be found in the "Control Panel" which can be accessed through the "Start" menu. Select "Websense Web Security / Websense Web Filter" from the "Add / Remove" list and select "Change / Remove."

Follow the instructions on the screen to remove the Websense program. After this step, the Websense program will be blocked from your computer.
