Create the blank page. In a book or printed document, this belongs directly after the title page.

Type the copyright symbol. In a word-processing program, find it under the "Symbols" menu. In the absence of a symbol, substitute the word "Copyright."

Leave a space and type the author of the work and the date of publication, separated by a comma. The author may be a person or a group. For example, "Richard Walley 2010" or "Springfield College 2010."

Type "All rights reserved" on the next line. This means that the author owns all rights to the work.

Add more explicit information on the next line if desired. For example: "You may not reproduce or transmit this document in any form without the written permission of the author."

Center all the text and space it so that it appears toward the bottom of the page.
