Lay down a couple paper towels over your intended work surface.

Remove the empty ink cartridge from the Epson Stylus and insert it into the top of the chip resetter.

Wait for the LED lights to flash green, then remove the cartridge and place it on the paper towels.

Use the thumb drill from the refill kit to create a hole on top of the empty cartridge.

Puncture a second hole into the cartridge so that air can escape when you begin to pump ink in.

Fill the syringe from the refill kit with the appropriate ink.

Place the syringe needle into the fill hole and fill the cartridge completely.

Remove the syringe and cover the two holes with either electrical tape or small dabs of hot glue to create a tight seal.

Wait for 24 hours before attempting to replace the cartridge as the ink needs time to settle.
